About Us

Plum Creek Arabians is located in historic Lockhart Texas about 30 minutes south of Austin. We are gifted to own a small herd of Straight Egyptian Arabians that daily enrich our lives.
I was introduced to the breed in college when I found an ad in the local paper seeking help in caring for Arabian horses. Needing a job, I decided to call and see what it was about. Michael Hake from Ja De Arabians answered the phone and told me about their farm and asked me to come out and meet their herd. I was in love from day one and the more I learned about the history and legacy of SE Arabians the more hooked I became. After college I started looking to get involved with the breed and find a mare of my own. My search led me to the beautiful classic Arabian mare Kah Retta (bred by Babson Arabians). Through this mare I began to meet other SE owners and added two more mares to my herd. Each of my mares offers something very special to our breeding program as well as to our lives!

We are very lucky to have these beautiful horses in our lives. We were helped by many people on our quest to raise these amazing animals and we hope for the opportunity to introduce others to Straight Egyptians and assist newcomers.
